WALTHAM, Mass. – 12 different players scored as No. 20 ranked Bentley routed AIC 19-4 on Wednesday night.
The Falcons improved to 4-1 in the Northeast-10 with the victory and 5-3 overall.
Sophomore Will Adams (Boca Raton, Fla.) had a game-high six points on three goals and three assists. Adams was one of the three Falcons to have a hat trick, with Conor Segreti (Darnestown, Md./St. John's) and Hunter Smith (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) the other two.
Cam Bartolomeo (Meriden, Conn./Xavier) went 12-14 in the faceoff circle with 10 ground balls and freshman Thomas Hirsh (Marlborough, Mass./AMSA) was 7-12 with three ground balls.
Bentley went 3-3 in man-up situations, with all three goals coming consecutively in the 2nd quarter. The goal scorers were Eric Makhatadze (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa), Kevin Sheahan (Scituate, Mass./BC High) and Segreti.
Kyle Piersiak (Needham, Mass./Needham) and Jack Flynn (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand) each had two caused turnovers to lead the way.
Bentley is now off until next Tuesday, when they visit Le Moyne on April 11.
