Bentley Travels to Robert Morris to Begin Atlantic Hockey Play

WALTHAM, Mass. – Coming off a sweep of Stonehill, Bentley will visit Robert Morris this weekend at the Clearview Arena in Moon Township, PA for its first Atlantic Hockey games of the season. Friday's game begins at 7:00 PM and Saturday's game is a 4:00 PM puck drop.

 

Sweeping the Skyhawks

Bentley swept Stonehill at home last weekend by scores of 2-0 and 4-1. In Friday's 2-0 win, defenseman Sam Duerr broke a scoreless tie with a power play goal at 6:58 of the third period. Stephen Castagna scored an empty-net goal with 19 seconds remaining to seal it. Connor Hasley earned his first career shutout.

On Saturday it was again all Falcons as they outshot the Skyhawks 45-19. Nick Bochen scored a power play goal in the first period, and Ethan Leyh added his first goal as a Falcon later in the period. Ethan Harrison lit the lamp in the second period and Nik Armstrong-Kingkade scored his first as a Falcon in the third frame. Nick Grabko made 18 saves for the win in goal.

 

Hasley Ranks Highly

Connor Hasley 11th nationally with a .940 save percentage and 8th in goals against average at 1.46.

 

Block Party

Bentley has blocked 62 shots through four games for an average of 15.5 per game. Defenseman Pat Lawn has eight to lead the team.

 

Series History

This weekend will be the first games between Bentley and Robert Morris since the 2019-20 season as the Colonials program was revived after it was discontinued following the 2020-21 season.

RMU leads the series 19-16-4.
