Hasley Named Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University goaltender Connor Hasley (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) was named the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Hasley made a season-high 40 saves in Bentley's 2-0 defeat to Air Force on Saturday night in Colorado. He had a .952 save percentage for the game and made 15 saves in the 1st period, 13 in the 2nd period and 12 in the 3rd. The North Tonawanda, N.Y., native stopped 33-of-33 shots at even strength as both Air Force tallies came on the power play.

Bentley split the series at Air Force with a 5-1 win on Friday night.

This is the third time this season Hasley has earned an award from Atlantic Hockey. He was the Goalie of the Week on Oct. 17 after a 33 save effort in Bentley's win over Maine on Oct. 15. He was then chosen as the Rookie of the Month for October.

In seven games this season, Hasley has a 2.86 goals against average and a .908 save percentage. He ranks 5th in Atlantic Hockey in save percentage.

Bentley is back on the road this weekend for two games at Army West Point.
