Hasley Named Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month
WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley goaltender Connor Hasley (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) earned the Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month award for October, the conference announced on Tuesday.
In the first month of the season Hasley made three starts and appeared in two other games. He posted a 2-1 record, to go along with a .913 save percentage and 2.45 goals against average.
He backstopped the Falcons to a 5-1 win over Maine on Oct. 15 in his first NCAA start. He made 33 saves in that game and was named the AHA Goalie of the Week for that performance.
Hasley made 27 saves to help Bentley to a 3-1 victory over Lindenwood on Saturday night.
He currently ranks 3rd in Atlantic Hockey in goals against average and 4th in save percentage.
The Falcons are back in action on Friday night when they host Niagara. That will be their first Atlantic Hockey series of the season.
