BOSTON, Mass. – No. 14 Boston University defeated Bentley University 8-2 in the season opener for both teams at Agganis Arena on Saturday night.

The Falcons goals came from junior Nick Bochen (North Vancouver, B.C.) in the 1^st period and sophomore Harrison Scott (San Jose, Calif.) in the second period.

Bochen's goal came off a faceoff win the Bentley's offensive zone, on the right face off circle by Scott. Freshman Ryan Upson (West Vancouver, B.C.) then gained control of the puck and passed it back to Bochen, who fired a shot past BU goalie Drew Commesso at 19:06 of the opening period.

Scott lit the lamp at 16:47 of the 2^nd period, with assists by Bochen and junior Cole Kodsi (Boca Raton, Fla.)

BU  was led by Ryan Green sand Jeremy Wilmer, who each had three points.

The Falcons will next be in action on Thursday, Oct. 13 when they visit Union College.
