Three Bentley Hockey Student-Athletes Named Krampade/AHCA All-America Scholars

WALTHAM, Mass. – Three student-athletes from the Bentley University hockey team were named All-America Scholars for the 2021-22 season by the American Hockey Coaches Association on Wednesday; recent graduate Fraser Kirk, rising senior Lucas Vanroboys (Thamesville, Ontario) and rising junior Ethan Harrison (Plano, Texas).

The criteria to be named an AHCA All-America Scholar is to have attained a 3.75 GPA or better in each semester during the academic year.

Kirk, a goalie, graduated from Bentley in May with degrees in both economics-finance and health and industry. He was one of 10 student-athletes in Atlantic Hockey to be named a Student-Athlete of the Year in the conference for having a 4.0 GPA for the year.

Vanroboys and Harrison are both All-America Scholars for the second consecutive year.

A forward, Vanroboys is majoring in economics-finance and Harrison, a forward as well, is majoring in corporate finance and accounting.

All three were named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic team and were among 26 student-athletes on the team to receive that honor.
