WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University sophomore Nelson Eaton (Groton, Vt./St. Johnsbury Academy) is the 2022 recipient of the Northeast-10 Conference Elite 24 for Men's Golf.

The Elite 24 Award honors the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average (GPA) participating at the finals site at each NE10 Championship.

Eaton, who tied for tenth in the conference championships that were held Sunday and Monday in Endicott, N.Y., has achieved a sensational 3.97 grade point average as a finance major.

On the course, Easton has a 74.9 stroke average in three tournaments this spring. His scores during the Northeast-10 championships were 77-74-74-225.

This marks the third time in the five year history of the award that a Falcon has earned the Elite 24 Award for men's golf. Ellis Yoder was the recipient in 2018 and 2020.

This is also the third time in this calendar year that a Bentley student-athlete has been the recipient of the Elite 24 Award with Eaton following Kari Brekke (women's basketball) and Adria Amabilino Perez (men's basketball).
