Bentley in 6th Place Following First Two Rounds of NE10 Championships

ENDICOTT, N.Y. – Led by junior Timothy Picard (Dracut/Lowell Catholic HS) and sophomore Nelson Eaton (Groton, Vt./St. Johnsbury HS), the Bentley University Falcons finished the first two rounds of the Northeast-10 Conference Golf Championships in sixth place.

The Falcons posted a 36-hole score of 613 and will head into Monday's final round 22 strokes back of tournament leader Southern New Hampshire. Bentley was tied for second after a 304 opening round, but slipped to a second round 309. The Falcons were the only team in the top eight to have a higher second-round score.

Picard and Eaton concluded the day tied for 13th in a field of 55. Picard posted a 75-76-151 and Eaton turned in a 77-74-151. Both players parred 24 of the 36 holes.

Also for Bentley, sophomore Chris Huban (Cohoes, N.Y./Albany Academy) and senior Kevin Lynch (Haddam, Conn./Xavier HS) are tied for 34th with both shooting a 14-over 158 on the par-72, 6600-yard En-Joie Golf Club.

Evan Rollins (Southern New Hampshire) and Tyler Birdd (Le Moyne) share the individual lead with both recording a one-under 143.
