The 2022-23 season marked the 60th year of men's basketball at Bentley University. That's 60 teams, with an all-time roster of 287 players and 35 coaches, that have produced the seventh highest all-time winning percentage in Division II history. On Saturday, June 10, the program will celebrate this milestone by hosting the Sixty Years of Bentley Basketball Reunion.

Bentley University junior guard Zach Laput (Beacon Falls, Conn./Notre Dame HS), who led the Falcons to a 23-7 record and a second straight appearance in the NCAA Division II East Regional championship game, has been selected as an NCAA Division II All-America by the National Basketball Coaches Association.

Junior guard Zach Laput (Beacon Falls, Conn./Notre Dame JS) and graduate forward Matt Leritz (St. Louis, Mo./St. Louis University HS), a duo who helped the Bentley University Falcons to a 23-7 record and the NCAA Division II East Regional championship game, have been selected for 2022-23 NABC Division II All-East honors by the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Laput was a first-team selection and Leritz received second-team honors.

The NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball East Region championship and a trip to Evansville, Indiana for the Elite Eight will be on the line Tuesday night when the second-seeded Bentley University Falcons and the fourth-seeded University of New Haven Chargers square off at Saint Anselm College’s Stoutenburgh Gymnasium. Tip-off is scheduled to be at 7:30 pm and the game will be streamed over the NE10NOW digital network.
