Trottie Earns NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week Award

WALTHAM, Mass. – Mia Trottie earned the Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week award for posting two shutouts in Bentley's wins over Saint Michael's and Mercy.

Trottie made two saves in a 1-0 victory at the Purple Knights on Oct. 4. She then made a season high seven saves in the 2-0 win at Mercy.

Trottie has four shutouts in a row and has now gone 272 minutes since she last conceded a goal, which was five games ago in a 3-2 win at New Haven on Sept. 23.

She has five shutouts on the season and leads the NE10 in both save percentage (.841) and goals against average (0.70). She's the only goalie in the NE10 with a GAA under 1.00 and she is second in Division II in GAA.

This is the second time in her career that she has been named NE10 Goalie of the Week.

Trottie and the Falcons, 8-4 on the season and 6-1 in the NE10, are back at home on Wednesday against Southern New Hampshire.
