WALTHAM, Mass. – Tajon Vassar finished the 2023 football season by earning his second Northeast-10 Special Teams Player of the Week honor, the NE10 announced Monday.

Bentley played for the conference title at New Haven this past Saturday (Nov. 11). The Falcons received the opening kickoff, and Vassar returned it 95 yards for a touchdown.

It was his second kickoff return for a touchdown this season.

When Bentley hosted New Haven for a non-conference game in the second week of the season (Sept. 9), Vassar set a school record by returning a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown.

In addition to his prowess on special teams, Vassar finished the year tied for the NE10 lead for interceptions with five.

Through the course of 10 games in 2023, Bentley earned six NE10 Special Teams Player of the Week honors (Vassar twice, Mason Campbell three times, Nick Pucillo once).
