Campbell earns second consecutive NE10 nod

WALTHAM, Mass. – For the second straight week, Bentley's Mason Campbell earned the Northeast-10 Special Teams Player of the Week award.

Campbell hit field goals of 40 and 29 yards in Bentley's 13-7 road win over Southern Connecticut on Saturday.

He averaged 58 yards per kick on four kickoffs.

So far this season Campbell leads all NE10 kickers in field goals made (7), points (29) and the longest field goal made (49 yards).

This is the third time in his career that he has been named NE10 Specials Teams Player of the Week.

Linebacker Salvatore Lupoli Jr and running back Vinnie Holmes were each named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll. Lupoli had a game-high 15 tackles and Holmes had 112 rushing yards against the Owls.

Bentley has a bye this week, and it returns to the field on Oct. 7 at Saint Anselm.
