Vassar breaks school record, earns NE10 honor

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley's Tajon Vassar was named the Northeast-10 Special Teams Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Vassar had a record-setting 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in Saturday night's game against New Haven, which came on the opening kickoff of the second half.

The previous school record was a 97-yard return by Isaiah Collins on October, 5, 2019 against Assumption.

Vassar is one of Bentley's starting cornerbacks. A graduate student, he is pursuing his MBA this year with a focus in leadership.

Bentley's next game is scheduled for Saturday at Post University at 1 .PM.
