Beauregard & Lindsay Collect CSC Academic All-District Honors

WALTHAM, Mass. – The 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Baseball Team includes two seniors from Bentley University, first baseman Eddy Beauregard (Paxton/Wachusett Reg. HS) and catcher Brian Lindsay (New Durham, N.H./Kingswood Reg. HS). Both will now advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.

Beauregard finished the season with a team-best .318 batting average with his 41 hits including eight home runs and six doubles. He drove in 32 runs, scored 24 times and had an impressive .582 slugging percentage.  In addition, he was Bentley's starting pitcher four times and posted a 2-0 record. A finance major, Beauregard has achieved a 3.76 GPA.

Lindsay, Bentley's starting catcher in 32 games, hit .241 with 22 RBI and 14 runs scored. He threw out 12 runs attempting to steal and had two pickoffs. In the classroom, Lindsay has earned a 3.57 GPA.

Both Beauregard and Lindsay recently completed their second year at Bentley after coming in as transfers, Beauregard from Stonehill College and Lindsay from Central Alabama Community College. They each plan to return next year for the final season of eligibility.

Bentley finished the season with a 23-22 record and reached the Northeast-10 championship weekend for the first time in a decade.
