Six All-Americas are among eight former Bentley University student-athletes who have been selected for the Bentley Athletic Hall of Fame, Director of Athletics Vaughn Williams announced. They will be inducted during an October 7 on-campus ceremony.

HS) and catcher Brian Lindsay (New Durham, N.H./Kingswood Reg. HS). Both will now advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America consideration.

Despite a double and the 11th home run of the season for All-Conference left fielder Stan DeMartinis III (Boca Raton, Fla./American Heritage HS), the fourth-seeded Bentley University baseball team fell to second-seeded Franklin Pierce University 8-3 Friday in an elimination game during Northeast-10 Conference Championship Weekend on Le Moyne College’s Dick Rockwell Field.

Senior right-hander Patrick Gleason (Valhalla, N.Y.) pitched a one-hitter and junior third baseman Anthony Labita (North Massapequa, N.Y.) hit a three-run homer as Pace University downed Bentley University, 7-0, during the first day of the Northeast Championship Weekend at Le Moyne College’s Dick Rockwell Field Thursday.
