Garden City, N.Y. - As the Adelphi University department is excited and ready for fans to be back at its venues, supporters planning to come to Garden City need to abide by the following policies ahead of the 2021-22 sport seasons. This page will be regularly updated with pertinent information. 

This policy pertains only to home contests located at the Garden City campus. Each Northeast-10 Conference school will provide a unique policy for their venues, so fans are expected to abide by the rules and regulations set by each institution when attending away contests.

As of Thursday, January 13, 2022, the indoor policy - affecting the second half of the basketball season - will limit the capacity inside the Center for Recreation and Sports to 250 fans. Home and visiting fans MUST BE on a pass list in order to enter the game, which will be coordinated internally. Adelphi students/faculty/staff are also allowed to attend, but only a limited number of seats are available. 

2021-22 Fan/Spectator Policy at Adelphi University 

1. Upon entry to the athletic facilities, all fans must show proof of vaccination OR a negative PCR test result within 72-hours of the event, OR a negative rapid test result within 24 hours of the event.
2. Fans will be required to complete the Adelphi University Self-Screening form prior to arrival to campus on the same event date. The link is: COVID-19 Self Screening Form
3. Social distancing is encouraged in all athletic facilities.
4. Face masks MUST be worn indoors (and outdoors when social distancing can't be achieved), per Adelphi University policy.
