Swimming and Diving Wraps Up Home Schedule Thursday vs. Bridgewater State

WALTHAM, Mass. – The swimming and diving teams host their final meet of the 2023-24 season on Thursday night against Bridgewater State at 6:00 PM. It's also the final dual meet of the season before the teams begin preparing for the Northeast-10 Championships.

Both the women's and men's teams are coming off victories on Senior Day over Babson on Sunday. The women dominated in a 201-87 victory while the men cruised to a 168-126 triumph.

Coming into Thursday's meet, the women's team has an 8-2 record in dual meets and are undefeated in the Dana Center at 4-0. The men are 9-1 and are also unbeaten in the Dana pool at 4-0.

Last week's victories over Roger Williams and Babson netted the Falcons multiple NE10 weekly awards.

Jordan Nuzback was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career. She had three individual wins, the 100 and 200 free and contributed to two winning relay teams.

Hilla Almog was voted the Women's Diver of the Week for an incredible fifth time this season and ninth time in her career.

Daniel Ivanchikov was tabbed as the Men's Rookie of the Week. He won the 200 free in both meets and swam the anchor for the victorious 200 free relay team against Babson.

Last season, the men's team crushed the Bears 173-54 and won 12 of 13 events. The women's team also won by a big margin, 177-62, and took all but two events.

Following Thursday's meet both teams will ramp up preparations for the NE10 Championships, which take place from Feb. 15-18 in Worcester on the campus of WPI.
