Remembering Coach Hoffman

Sandy Hoffman, the winningest active New England Division II women’s volleyball coach and a 2014 selection for the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, served as Bentley's head volleyball coach from 1982-2013. She took a medical leave of absence in August 2014 and lost a long battle with cancer on August 31, 2015.

Hoffman amassed 758 career victories, fourth most all-time in Division II women's volleyball history, with her record standing at 758-366. She was inducted into the Bentley Athletic Hall of Fame in September 2015 and the Northeast-10 Conference Hall of Fame in June 2016.
