Two Javelina mistakes, one serving and one on attack, gave the Falcons a 23-21 lead in the second and Van Buren's kill closed out the set, making it a 2-0 Bentley lead in the match.

After dropping the third, Bentley found itself down 18-13 and 23-19 in the fourth before storming back. A Van Buren kill reduced the deficit to one at 24-23 and a TAMUK attacking error evened the count at 24-all. With the set knotted at 25, senior Shelby Kreienberg (Pittsford, N.Y./Pittsford Mendon HS) put down a kill for the lead and a Javelina attack error closed the match.

Freshman setter Krista Campbell (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North HS) had her best match as a collegian, amassing 38 assists and eight digs.
