RINDGE, N.H. – Posting its highest hitting percentage of the season, the Bentley University Falcons stretched their winning streak to seven with a four-set victory over Franklin Pierce University Wednesday night in Northeast-10 Conference women's volleyball at the FPU Fieldhouse.

After falling in the opening set (27-25), the Falcons soared past the Ravens in the next three, prevailing 25-14, 25-14 and 25-22 to remain unbeaten in the NE-10 at 4-0. Overall, the Falcons improved to 10-4 while registering their first seven-match win streak since 2008.

Bentley hit .341 as a team, including .368 over the final three sets, with five different players registering at least seven kills. Topping the list was junior middle hitter Savannah Dominguez (Miami, Fla./Palmer Trinity HS), who finished with 16 kills, a .500 hitting percentage and four blocks. Six of her kills came in the third, and she finished with four kills in six swings in the final set of the night.

Junior Tatiana Froehlich (Newton, Mass./Newton North HS) followed with 13 kills and a .324 success rate, and two classmates, Kaleigh Sullivan (Naples, Fla./Harley School, N.Y.) and Simone Silvera (Bolingbrook, Ill./Bolingbrook HS) each had nine. Both had the highest single match hitting percentages of their career, .412 and .368 respectively, and Silvera also had a team-best five blocks. The Falcons also received seven kills, along with ten digs, from sophomore Jaci Buscher (Lakewood, Colo./Rocky Mountain HS).

Junior setter Alex Tator (Los Angeles, Calif./Marlborough School) continued her strong play with 45 assists putting her past 500 for the season. She also helped out defensively with seven digs and a pair of block assists.

Northeast-10 Libero of the Week Lauren Colasanti (Northville, Mich./Northville HS), another member of the Falcons' productive Class of 2015, made 21 digs, the sixth straight match she's averaged at least five.

The clinching set was tied at 18 when a ball handling error put Bentley in front to stay, igniting a 7-4 closing spurt that included two Dominguez kills and three service errors by Franklin Pierce (5-3, 0-3 NE-10).

Bentley will also be on the road Saturday, playing a triangular at Mercy College with New York Tech.
