BOSTON, Mass. – Bentley University senior Stephanie Mattson (Smithfield, R.I./Smithfield HS) completed her indoor career as a collegian by breaking yet another school record while competing in a Last Chance Meet at Boston University Sunday afternoon.

Mattson ran the 400 meters in 56.71 seconds, surpassing the 56.85 she posted on the same track earlier this month during the David Hemery Invitational. She was 12th of 47 overall in the meet.

It marked the tenth time during the indoor season and the 32nd time in her career that Mattson has broken a school record. It was also the third fastest recorded by a Division II East Region student-athlete this season.
