Bentley Drops 7-0 Decision to Franklin Pierce on the Road

Rindge, N.H. – Franklin Pierce's Himani Mor won in both No. 1 singles and doubles to lead the Ravens to a 7-0 victory over the Bentley University women's tennis team on Saturday in a NE10 match.

In doubles, Mor and combined with freshman Liria Loria for a 6-1 win in No. 1 to lead the way.

In No. 4 singles, Bentley's Alyssa Cook (New Castle, N.H./Portsmouth) and Franklin Pierce's Ashley Flood battled in a three setter. Flood took the first set 6-4, but Cook rallied and won the second set 6-3 to force a deciding third set tiebreaker, which Flood won 10-4.

The Ravens improved to 6-3 overall and 3-3 NE10 with the win, while the Falcons dropped to 3-6 and 2-6 NE10.

Bentley will be back in action on Sunday when they host Stonehill for a noon start at the Brandeis courts.
