BRISTOL, R.I. – Bentley made it two wins from two to start the season with a 6-3 victory over Roger Williams in a non-conference match on Tuesday. Rachel Hui (Hong Kong/St. Rose of Lima's) and freshman Evann Welty (Wayzata, Minn./Mound Westonka) again both won twice.

Bentley fell behind 2-1 from the doubles matches, but had a strong performance in singles with five out of six victories to rally for the 6-3 win.

The Falcons' point in doubles came from Hui and Welty in the No. 2 match, who defeated Gabrielle Riley and Jessica Magliato by an 8-1 score.

Hui and Welty then claimed their second wins of the day in singles, as they each blanked their opponent by a 6-0, 6-0 count; Hui in the No. 3 match and Welty in the No. 4 match.

In the other singles matches, junior Hannah Fabianski (Pawcatuck, Conn./Stonington) won the No. 1 match for the second straight day in three sets. This time she defeated Kathryn Hughes 7-6, 2-6, 10-7.
