ORLANDO, Fla. – Sophomore Susan Stowe (Hebron, Conn./RHAM) won her third singles match of Bentley's spring break trip, but the women's tennis team was beaten by Marian University 8-1 on Friday in a non-conference match.

Stowe defeated Colleen Yager in the No. 5 match by an 8-2 score. The victory sends her singles record on Bentley's spring break trip to 3-1.

Marian wins its fourth straight match overall and improves to 15-2 on the season. The Falcons, who fall to 7-10, conclude their spring break trip on Saturday when they visit Eckerd College at 10:00 am.
