RINDGE, N.H. – Powered by four players who were victorious in their Bentley debut, the women's tennis team topped Franklin Pierce 9-0 in a Northeast-10 match on Wednesday.

Freshmen Ludmila Yamus (Deer Park, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills East), Catherine Gianino (Burlington, Mass./Burlington), Olga Kosheva (Port Washington, N.Y./Paul D. Schreiber) and Brittani Hetyei (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Township) were all victorious in singles. Yamus won in first-flight singles, Gianino in the third-flight, Kosheva in the fourth and Hetyei in the sixth.

Senior Rachael Litton (Burlington, Ontario/Nelson) won her second-flight match and sophomore Melanie Scott (Southbury, Conn./Pomperaug) won in the fifth-flight.

Bentley's next competition is the ITA East Regional beginning on Saturday in Philadelphia.
