MacNeil Triples as Bentley Posts 29th Straight Dual Win, 225-62 at Babson

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Bentley University senior Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS) posted victories in three different strokes as the Falcon women's swimming and diving team stayed unbeaten in dual competition with a 225-62 win over Babson College Tuesday night at the Morse Swimming Center.

Bentley captured every event while improving to 8-0 this season and extending its winning streak to 29.

MacNeil achieved victories in the 200 yard freestyle (1:58.81), the 200 backstroke (2:11.53) and the 100 butterfly (1:01.23).

Double winners for the Falcons in individual events were seniors Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS) and Ariana Revelas (Snyder, N.Y./Nardin Academy), sophomore Lucy Slowe (Millis/Millis HS) and freshman Dariana Gonzales (Stamford, Conn./ Westhill HS).

Logozzo swept the diving, putting up scores of 255.75 from the one-meter board and 225.20 from the three. Revelas doubled in the breaststroke, taking the 100 in 1:10.51 and the 200 in the 2:31.84.

Slowe prevailed in the 500 free (5:13.95) and the 200 individual medley (2:14.87) while Gonzales took first in the 100 back (59.34) and the 100 free (54.19).

Gonzales was also part of two winning relays, helping the Falcons to a 1:53.04 in the 200 medley and 3:41.69 in the 400 free. Slowe, Revelas and freshman Kathryn Galvin (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern HS) joined Gonzales in the 200 medley while the 200 free included Galvin, junior Emily LaRovere (Lynnfield/Phillips Exeter Acad.) and senior Lea Guldemond (West Newbury/Central Catholic HS).

Bentley's other individual winners were Galvin in the 50 free (29.14), sophomore Rona Mejiritski (Bowling Green, Ohio/Bowling Green HS) in the 200 fly (2:12.20) and sophomore Emily Sweet (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North HS) in the 1000 free (10:50.02).

Bentley completes its home schedule Saturday afternoon against Pace University.
