Huminski Named Northeast-10 Women’s Diver of the Week

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University freshman Mary Huminski (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand HS) was recently named the Northeast-10 Conference Women's Diver of the Week for the week ending November 24. It was the third time in four weeks that she collected the honor.

Huminski swept diving in the Falcons' win over Keene State, posting scores of 252.97 from the one-meter board and 190.12 from the three. She's won five straight diving competitions.

Two other Falcons, sophomores Zach Papsco (Northport, N.Y./Northport HS) and Rona Mejiritski (Bowling Green, Ohio/Bowling Green HS), were named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll for their performance.

Mejiritski swam to victories in both the 400 individual medley and the 200 butterfly against Keene State, with times of 4:52.15 and 2:12.19, respectively. She was also part of a Falcon 200 medley relay team that placed second in 1:57.88.

In a victory over Keene State that extended Bentley's dual streak to 37, Papsco placed first in the 200 butterfly (2:04.85) and helped the Falcons win the 200 medley relay in 1:30.92. He also finished second in the 50 free with a time of 22.06.

Bentley will compete in the Gompei Invitational at WPI (swimming) and Clark University (diving) Friday through Sunday.
