Slowe Helps Bentley Extend Win Streak to 23, 194-103 over Le Moyne

SYRACUSE, N.Y.. – Sophomore Lucy Slowe (Millis, Mass./Millis HS), last year's Rookie of the Year in the Northeast-10 Conference, swam to victory in two individual events and participated in two winning relays as the Bentley University Falcons defeated the Dolphins of Le Moyne College 194-103 at the Rev. Vincent Ryan Pool Saturday afternoon.

Bentley prevailed in 12 of 16 events while earning its 23rd consecutive dual victory, dating back to the second meet of the 2017 season. This season, the Falcons are 2-0.

Slowe captured the 200 yard freestyle in 1:59.12 and the 500 free in 5:15.25. She helped Bentley open the meet with a victory in the 200 medley relay (1:52.64) and close with the same in the 200 free relay (1:41.05). Freshman Kathryn Galvin (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern HS) was also involved in both relays.

Senior Arianna Revelas (Snyder, N.Y./Nardin Academy) also played a key role in the victory. She placed first in both the 100 breaststroke (1:09.82) and the 200 breast (2:30.43), and was part of the winning 200 medley relay.

Another double-winner for the Falcons was sophomore Rona Mejiritski (Bowling Green, Ohio/ Bowling Green HS), in the 1000 free (11:06.12) and the 100 butterfly (1:01.54).

Completing Bentley's list of winners were sophomore Emily Sweet (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North HS) in the 200 back (2:11.92), freshman Mary Huminski (Madison, Conn./Daniel Hand HS) in the one-meter diving (226.80), senior Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS) in the other one-meter competition (159.45) and senior co-captain Paige MacNeil (Branford, Conn./Branford HS) in the 100 back (1:02.58).

On Sunday, Bentley will continue its weekend in the Empire State by taking on Saint Rose at RPI.
