Bentley Women Swim Past Brandeis, 136-117, for 4th Straight Win

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley University women's swimming team traveled crosstown to Brandeis University Friday night and returned home with their fourth straight win, 136-117, after capturing 15 of 16 events.

Senior Kaitlin McGahie (Boylston/Tahanto Reg. HS) was a triple-winner in individual events as she posted victories in the 200 yard freestyle (1:59.88), the 100 free (55.28) and the 100 individual medley (1:02.59).

Those came after she anchored the Falcons' 400 medley relay team that won in 4:09.81. That quartet also included  freshman Ari Revelas (Snyder, N.Y./Nardin Academy) and sophomores Kate Kaduboski (Dedham/Dedham HS) and Melissa Viator (Lubbock, Texas/Lubbock HS).

Double-winners for the Falcons included Kaduboski in the 200 butterfly (2:17.50) and the 200 backstroke (2:09.87), Viator in the 100 back (1:02.23) and the 100 fly (1:02.02), junior Emily Niemiec (Meriden, Conn./Francis T. Maloney HS) in the 1000 free (11:18.75) and the 200 breaststroke (2:33.30), and freshman Caroline Logozzo (Wethersfield, Conn./Wethersfield HS). Logozzo swept the diving with scores of 250.55 from the one-meter board and 199.85 from the three-meter.

Kaduboski, Viator and Niemiec were also part of the Falcons' winning 200 free relay team, along with freshman Lea Guldemond (West Newbury/Central Catholic HS).

Rounding out the list of Falcon winners were Guldemond in the 50 free (26.48) and sophomore Brooke Jameson (Bedford/Bedford HS) in the 500 free (5:30.09).

Bentley, 4-1, will be off until the Gompei Invitational at WPI Dec. 2-4.
