MANCHESTER, N.H. – Junior Brandi McDonald (East Bridgewater, Mass./East Bridgewater) had a hand in all three goals in leading the Bentley women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory at Saint Anselm on Wednesday.

McDonald assisted on Bentley's first two goals, Emma Guccione (Holliston, Mass./Holliston) in the 8^th minute and Stephanie Helin (Manchester, Conn./East Catholic) in the 19^th, before she scored herself in the 58^th minute.

Guccione notched her first career goal after she finished to the far post after McDonald fed her with a long ball over the top of the Hawks' defense.

11 minutes later, Helin struck her 2^nd goal of the season to put the Falcons up 2-0. Helin finished with her left foot and with a shot to the lower right corner of the net, after she took a pass from McDonald from the right side of the field.

With the Falcons in control 2-0 in the 2^nd half, McDonald and Guccione again linked up for their 3^rd goal. Guccione got it started with a shot that hit the crossbar, and McDonald was there to head in the rebound for her 2^nd goal of the year.

Senior keeper Deirdre Macrorie (Winchester, Mass./Winchester), who was making her 42^nd straight start, made four saves to earn her 13^th career shutout.

The win improved Bentley's records to 4-3 overall and 2-3 Northeast-10. They're back in action on Saturday at home to Saint Michael's for a 1:00 pm kickoff.
