BRIARCLIFF, N.Y. – Pace received first half goals from Jillian Ferro and Brittany Trymbulak, and despite an 84^th minute goal from Bentley freshman Sam Ford (Rockville Centre, N.Y./South Side), were able to hang on for a 3-1 win over the Falcons on Saturday in a Northeast-10 women's soccer match.

The Setters went ahead on Ferro's goal in the 22^nd minute. For Ferro, a sophomore forward, it was her fifth goal of the season. Pace doubled its lead not long after on Trymbulak's goal in the 31^st minute.

That was the last goal until well into the second half when Ford pulled one back for Bentley in the 84^th minute, unassisted. It was the first goal of Ford's career.

But that was the closest Bentley could get, as Ferro netted her second of the afternoon in the 88^th minute to give Pace a 3-1 lead.

Bentley (3-4-2, 1-4-2 NE-10) is back on the pitch Tuesday night at Southern New Hampshire.
