Getting to Know...Women's Lacrosse Student-Athlete Caroline Boudreau

Getting to Know Bentley women's lacrosse student-athlete Caroline Boudreau, from Foxborough, Massachusetts. A sophomore, Caroline burst onto the scene last year as a freshman with 33 goals, third most on the team. That earned her a spot on the NE10 All-Rookie team. She is a finance major, with a minor in computer information systems.

Why did you first start playing lacrosse and what other sports did you play before college?

I started playing Lacrosse in 3rd grade on the first team made in my hometown! It was a new sport in my area and I was excited to try it. I also played field hockey in high school.

Who was your favorite athlete growing up, and who is your current favorite athlete?

My favorite athlete growing up was always Mia Hamm, but currently it's Tom Brady or Kayla Treanor.

What is the most memorable sporting event that you have attended?

Any Patriots game I've ever been to!

Favorite place you have traveled to?

Outer Banks in North Carolina.

What are your pre and post game meals of choice?

Pregame meal is always eggs for breakfast. Postgame meal is always whatever our parents bring to our amazing tailgates.

What are the reasons that you chose to attend Bentley?

Because of Bentley's unmatched career services and being able to continue the sport I love to play at a high level.

Favorite moment or memory of your Bentley career?

Every single overtime win from last season!

How have you been spending your time during the shutdown?

A lot of movies with the family, talking to friends online.

What were some of your reactions to the season getting shutdown?

It is definitely discouraging missing a whole season after working towards it all year.
