Boudreau Named NE10 Rookie of the Week
Waltham, Mass. – Bentley University's Caroline Boudreau (Foxborough, Mass./Foxbrough) has been named the NE10 Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week, for the week ending March 31.
Boudreau combined for five goals to help the Falcons to a pair of wins last week over Franklin Pierce and Saint Anselm.
She netted three goals in the 14-10 road win over the Ravens on March 27, including a goal with 12:45 left in the 2nd half as part of a decisive 3-0 run to help Bentley pull away. Boudreau then scored twice in the team's 14-11 win over the Hawks on Saturday.
Boudreau is the first Bentley player this season to earn a weekly award from the NE10. Through eight games this season, she's third on the team with 17 goals.
After last night's 16-10 win over Saint Michael's, in which Boudreau had a goal, the 19th ranked Falcons are 7-1 overall and 5-1 NE10. The team's next game is Saturday at home to Southern Connecticut, which will be the team's Senior Day and also the program's 20th Anniversary celebration.
