WALTHAM, Mass. – The 19th ranked Bentley women's lacrosse team will head into the NE10 playoffs coming off a substantial 21-10 victory over Southern New Hampshire on Senior Day.

The Falcons finished the regular season with records of 9-6 overall and 8-5 NE10. They will be the sixth seed in the playoffs, and will take on the third seed Pace on Wednesday. Bentley defeated the Setters 14-13 at home back on April 14th

Prior to the game, the team's six seniors were honored on Senior Day; Erin Woods (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Ponte Vedra), Paige O'Neill (Amityville, N.Y./St. John), Carolyn Cruise (East Greenwich, R.I./East Greenwich), Emily De Marinis (Smithtown, N.Y./Smithtown East), Ciara Morley (Irvington, N.Y./Irvington) and Kathleen Gillespie (Topsfield, Mass./Masconomet).

Morley, along with freshman Cara McCarthy (Salem, N.H./Central Catholic) led the offense with four goals, while fellow freshman Julia Glavin (Ipswich, Mass./Ipswich) and junior MaryKate Staines (Gaithersburg, Mass./Damascus) each had three goals.

Gillespie pulled down a team high five draw controls, while De Marinis and freshman Sandrine Heller (Weggis, Switzerland) each had a team high two caused turnovers.

Goalie Eliza Bresler (Newton, Mass./Newton North) made 14 saves, the fifth time this season she's had at least 14 saves in a game.

The 21 goals Bentley scored today are a season high by four, which bested the 17 they scored against AIC back on March 17.
