McConnell Selected Academic All-Northeast-10

WALTHAM, Mass. – The 2018-19 Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team for women's basketball includes Bentley University senior guard Amy McConnell (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS).

McConnell, who was previously selected for the All-Northeast-10 second team, started all 32 games for the Falcons and helped coach Barbara Stevens' team to a 28-4 record, the NE10 Northeast Division regular season title, the NE10 championship game and a number 18 ranking in the final WBCA Division II coaches' poll.

McConnell averaged 10.3 points while leading the Falcon in minutes (34.1 per game), three-point accuracy (.383) and assists (142).

One of the team's captains, McConnell finished her career with 671 points and 284 assists in 129 career games. Her career three-point accuracy mark of .380 ranks tenth in program history.

The Academic All-Conference team for women's basketball also included Adelphi's Victoria Major, American International's Dana Watts and Alyssa Guyon, Le Moyne's McKayla Roberts, Merrimack's Alyssa Casey, New Haven's Alexandria Kerr, Pace's Jackie DelliSanti, Saint Michael's Emily Ferrari and Southern New Hampshire's Kylie Lorenzen.
