Bentley Claims 5-3 Win over Colby-Sawyer
HANOVER, N.H. – Bentley picked up a 5-3 win over Colby-Sawyer in a non-conference men's tennis match on Wednesday as the team prepares for the heart of its Northeast-10 schedule. Junior Chase Rosa (Hampton, N.H./Berwick) was a double winner on the day.
Rosa teamed with Brett Gilman (Mahwah, N.J./Mahwah) in No. 3 doubles for an 8-2 victory, one of two doubles matches Bentley won, with the No. 1 match being the other courtesy of the team of Brendan McCarthy (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth) and George Samander (Willemstad, Curacao/ISC).
Rosa then earned a 6-2, 6-4 victory in No. 3 singles. Dylan Granat (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) in the No. 2 spot and Michael Fuca (Manchester, Mass./Manchester-Essex) in the No. 4 spot were the other singles winners for the Falcons.
Now 9-3 on the season, Bentley will next host Southern New Hampshire next Tuesday as NE-10 play resumes.
