Bentley Cruises Past UMass-Boston 9-0

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Bentley men's tennis team picked up its first win of its spring break trip by beating UMass-Boston 9-0 in a non-conference match on Friday.

Senior Jimmy Rindo (Lowell, Mass./Lowell) and sophomore Kamil Pilch (Wroclaw, Poland/IMG Pendleton) each won both of their matches. Rindo defeated Charles Lia in the top-flight singles match 6-3, 6-1, while Pilch defeated Jack Wang 6-1, 6-0 in the second-flight match.

In doubles, Pilch teamed with junior Alex DeMuth (Shaker Heights, Ohio/University School) to defeat Lai and Lyle Analetto in the top match 8-1. While Rindo combined with sophomore Sam Frye (Redlands, Calif./Redlands.) to beat Wang and Mark Grinhays 8-4 in the second-flight match.

Now 5-4 on the season, the Falcons conclude their spring break trip on Saturday against Eckerd.
