Waddington Helps Bentley Slip Past AIC 5-4

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior Andrew Waddington (Granby, Conn./Granby Memorial) won both his matches as Bentley University outdueled AIC 5-4 in Northeast-10 men's tennis on Tuesday.

Bentley took a 2-1 lead into singles play after wins in doubles from Rodrigo Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) and Kamil Pilch (Wroclaw, Poland) in the top-flight, and Waddington and Alex DeMuth (Shaker Heights, Ohio/University School) in the third-flight.

Though AIC won the top three singles matches, Bentley's players in the fourth, fifth and sixth flights helped them secure their second victory in a row, both of which have been in NE-10 competition.
