BRADENTON, Fla. – The Bentley University men's tennis team got its spring break trip underway on Sunday against Division I Detroit Mercy in Bradenton, Fla., but dropped a 9-0 decision to the Titans.

Sophomore Peter Koopman (Whitinsville, Mass./Whitinsville Christian) was the only player to win a set in singles, taking the first set off Larry Brown 6-2. However, Brown won the next two sets 6-4, 10-9 to win the sixth-flight match.

Bentley's spring break trip continues Monday with a match at Eckerd.
