Three Tennis Players Earn NE-10 All-Academic Nods

Three Bentley University tennis players, two from the men’s side and one from the women’s, were named to the Northeast-10 Tennis All-Academic teams. Rising senior Rodrigo Riberio (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Chapel School) and Victor Suski (West Hartford, Conn./William Hall) made the men’s team, and Kara Murphy (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) made the women’s team.
Spycher & Murphy Named ITA East Region Arthur Ashe Award Winners

Bentley University senior tennis players Alec Spycher (Sarasota, Fla./Saint Stephens Episcopal) and Kara Murphy (Worcester, Pa./Methacton) have been named the winners of the ITA Division II East Region Men’s and Women’s Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship Awards, respectively.

The field for the 2012 NCAA Division II men’s tennis championships will be announced tonight via an online selection show. It will air on NCAA.com at 8 pm ET. The Bentley University Falcons, who dropped a 5-1 decision to Merrimack College Saturday in the Northeast-10 Conference Championship, will be looking to receive an at-large bid.
