Bentley Swim Teams Recognized by CSCAA for Academic Success

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Bentley University men's and women's swimming and diving teams received Scholar All-America Team Awards from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic performance during the fall semester.

Bentley was one of 44 Division II institutions to have both its men's and women's teams recognized, and one of three Northeast-10 Conference programs to have both teams honored. Both Bentley teams achieved a 3.30 GPA during the semester.

The CSCAA presents the Team Scholar All-America Award to swimming and diving programs who earn a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher. This was the tenth straight semester that both the Bentley men and women have been honored.

Both Bentley teams excelled in the pool as well as in the classroom. The men's squad repeated as Northeast-10 champions and posted a 9-1 dual record. The women's team was undefeated during its dual schedule for the second straight season, finishing 10-0, and was third in the conference championships.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA – the oldest organization of college coaches in American – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level.
