Bentley Swims Past Bridgewater State, 175-64, in Final Action Before NE10 Championships

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – In its final meet before next month's Northeast-10 Conference Championships, the Bentley University men's swimming and diving team won nine of 13 events while defeating Bridgewater State University, 175-64, Wednesday night at BSU's Moriarty Pool.

Bentley finished its dual schedule at 9-1 and its senior class posted a four-year record of 40-1.

The Falcons captured both relays with senior Timothy Fay (Yorktown Heights, N.Y./Yorktown HS) involved with both. He teamed with senior Jared Yoshihara (Irvine, Calif./University HS) and sophomores Zach Papsco (Northport, N.Y./Northport HS) and Mark Zoda (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) for a 1:41.54 in the 200 medley. Bentley finished the 200 free in 1:32.53 with Fay joined by junior Tanner Fales (Naples, Fla./Gulf Coast HS), freshman Alex Koch (Amawalk, Conn./Yorktown HS) and junior Paul Homorodean (Milford, Conn./Joseph A. Foran HS).

Sophomore Owen Busser (Chelmsford/Chelmsford HS) swept diving with scores of 200.20 from the one-meter board and 184.20 from the three-meter.

Bentley's other individual winners were Fales in the 200 free (1:49.04), Homorodean in the 200 individual medley (2:02.14), Zoda in the 100 butterfly (54.41), freshman Michael Motisi (Ellington, Conn./Ellington HS) in the 1000 free (10:19.45) and freshman Anthony Vizental (Concord, Calif./ Clayton Valley HS) in the 500 free (4:49.52).
