WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University was well-represented on the Northeast-10 Conference's Weekly Report for swimming and diving with Falcons receiving five of the eight weekly awards.

Freshman Anthony Vizental (Concord, Calif./Clayton Valley) was a repeat honoree for NE10 Men's Rookie of the Week honors while the Falcons swept the diving awards. Sophomore Jeremy Glick (South Windsor, Conn./South Windsor HS) received the Men's Diver of the Week award for the third time in his career and freshman Mary Huminski (Madison, Conn./Daniel HS) the women's.

Bentley athletes also received Men's and Women's Relay Team of the Week honors for the second straight week.

The men's team closed out a win at Le Moyne College by capturing the 200 free relay in 1:26.69, a Northeast-10 season-best. Senior Alper Alkaya (Milan, Italy) staked the Falcons to a lead and was followed by sophomore Clayton Bennice (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa HS), junior Paul Homorodean (Milford, Conn./Joseph A. Foran HS) and sophomore Mark Zoda (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS). Zoda finished with a 20.90 final leg.

In a victory for the women's team at Saint Rose, Bentley opened the meet with a winning time of 4:05.43, second best in the conference to date, in the 400 medley relay. Sophomore Emily Sweet (Nashua, N.H./Nashua North HS) swam the first leg and was followed into the pool by senior Ariana Revelas (Snyder, N.Y./Nardin Academy), freshman Kathryn Galvin (Suffern, N.Y./Suffern HS) and sophomore Lucy Slowe (Millis/Millis HS).

During dual meets at Le Moyne and Saint Rose, Vizental won three events and had one second in individual competition. The victories came in the 200 yard butterfly (1:57.54) and the 200 individual medley (2:01.84) at Le Moyne and in the 200 fly (1:58.37) against Saint Rose. He was also second in the 200 breaststroke against the Dolphins with his 2:12.16 second best in the NE10 to date.

Glick was four-for-four in diving competitions in the two duals. He achieved winning scores of 159.68 and 200.85, both off the one-meter board, at Le Moyne. Against Saint Rose, he turned in a 229.05 from the one-meter and posted a 221.86 off the three meter.

In the two meets, Huminski had two firsts and two seconds. At Le Moyne, she finished first in the six-dive competition and second in the five-dive, with scores of 226.00 and 156.68, respectively. Against Saint Rose, she was first from the three-meter board (205.80) and second from the one-meter (204.91).

Senior Daniel Sausto (Slingerlands, N.Y./Doane Stuart School), Zoda and Slowe were also recognized with inclusion on the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll.

Sausto captured both the 1000 freestyle and the 500 free during the two meets. Against the Dolphins, he set a pool record and an NE10 season-best in the 1000 (9:55.37) and swam the 500 in 4:53.49. Times against the Golden Knights were 10:08.11 and 5:30.15.  He was also part of a 400 free relay team that placed third in 3:26.45 at Saint Rose.

Zoda was undefeated during the week with three individual wins and four relay victories. Against Le Moyne, Zoda turned in winning swims in the 200 freestyle (1:45.06) and the 100 free (47.37). He bettered his 100 time at Saint Rose with a 47.26, fastest posted so far this season in the conference. Zoda also helped Bentley take both relay events in each meet.

Slowe was unbeaten during the two wins while competing in three individual events and four relays. Against the Dolphins, she posted winning times of 1:59.12 in the 200 freestyle and 5:15.25 in the 500 free, and also helped Bentley take first in the 200 medley relay (1:52.64) and the 200 free relay (1:41.05). She prevailed in the 200 individual medley at Saint Rose with a 2:13.10 and was part of two winning relays (4:05.43 in the 400 medley, 3:45.11 in the 400 free).

The men's team has won its last 36 meets and the women's squad has a winning streak of 24. The next meet is the home opener, Nov. 15 against Brandeis.
