Bentley Captures 200 Free Relay to Pull Out 121-118 Win over Babson

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Down by two points heading into the final event, the Bentley University Falcons captured the 200 yard free relay by 0.71 seconds to record a 121-118 win over Babson College in men's college swimming action at the Babson pool Wednesday night.

Sophomores Sebastian Bury (Bellevue, Wash./Newport Senior HS) and Nick Toselli (Barrington, R.I./Barrington HS) combined with freshman Davis Wilson (Ransom Canyon, Texas/ Lubbock HS) and senior Steve Sylvia (Westerly, R.I./Westerly HS) for a winning time of 1:28.55, the team's season-best.

Bentley's dominance in the diving enabled the Falcons to have the opportunity to win the meet on the final event. Led by sophomore Colton Bridge (Tolland, Conn./Tolland HS), the Falcons outscored the Beavers 29-5 off the two boards. Bridge finished first in both, with scores of 265.05 from the one-meter and 258.70 from the three-meter.

Other winners for the Falcons were Bury in the 50 freestyle (22.41) and junior Josh Witty (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos HS) in the 100 backstroke (56.07).

Bentley, 6-4, will complete the dual meet portion of its schedule Tuesday at Bridgewater State.
