WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University swept the weekly men's swimming awards from the Northeast-10 Conference with junior George Go (Manila, Philippines) the Swimming Athlete of the Week, senior Mike Walsh (South Salem, N.Y./John Jay HS) the Diver of the Week and freshman Josh Witty (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos HS) the Rookie of the Week.

All were instrumental in the Falcons' 145.5-113.5 win over Norwich University Saturday, with the victory in the final meet before the semester break boosting Bentley's record to 5-0.

Go was first to the wall in the 100 yard butterfly and the 50 fly, with times of 54.73 and 24.55, respectively. He also swam the opening leg on Falcons' winning 200 medley relay team (1:41.04).

Witty, the Rookie of the Week for the second time, finished first in both the 50 backstroke (26.76) and the 100 back (57.67). In addition, he was part of a 200 medley relay team that placed second in 1:46.20.

Walsh posted meet-best scores of 285.95 off the one-meter board and 272.70 off the three-meter to earn diving honors for the sixth straight week and the 15th time in his career.

Bentley will resume its schedule January 15 against Saint Rose.
