Bentley Men’s Soccer Sets 2019 Schedule, With Opener on Sept. 11
Waltham, Mass. – The Bentley men's soccer team will open its 2019 season on Wednesday, Sept. 11 with an away match at Stonehill, part of a 16-match slate that features 12 NE10 Conference matches.
Head coach Gary Crompton's team will play its first three matches on the road. The opening stretch features the match at Stonehill, which is non-conference, and matches against Holy Family and Post on the 14th and 18th, respectively.
The home opener, and first NE10 match, will be on Saturday, Sept. 21 against Saint Anselm. Another home tilt against American International on the 28th closes out the month.
October begins with a trip to Southern New Hampshire on the 2nd. That is followed by home matches against Le Moyne on the Saturday the 5th and Stonehill on Wednesday the 9th. Two other home matches in the month are against Franklin Pierce on Saturday the 19th and Southern Connecticut on Tuesday the 29th.
The regular season stretches into November with two matches, home against Assumption on Saturday the 2nd and away to New Haven on Wednesday the 6th.
Seniors Alec Foster (Wayland, Mass./Wayland) and Julian Stewart (Acton, Mass./Acton-Boxboro) and junior Adam Watkins (McConnells, S.C./Clover) were previously announced as team captains by Crompton for the 2019 season back in January.
