Taddeo Named USILA Division II Scholar All-America

Waltham, Mass. – Bentley University's Jack Taddeo (Penfield, N.Y./Penfield) was named a Division II Scholar All-America by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association on Thursday.

Taddeo graduated from Bentley in May with a degree in corporate finance and accounting and excelled in the classroom with a 3.91 GPA during the 2018-19 year.

He is one of just 21 student-athletes to be named a Division II Scholar All-America, and one of just six to come from the Northeast-10.

On the field Taddeo was a standout defenseman for the Bentley men's lacrosse team. He was a team captain this past season, started 13 games and picked up 20 ground balls to go along with six caused turnovers. He helped lead the Falcons to a 9-5 overall record and a 7-4 mark in the NE10 for a 5th place finish and a spot in the NE10 playoffs. Bentley finished the season ranked 18th in the USILA Coaches Poll.

For his career he played in 42 games and started 29, with 67 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers.

Taddeo was previously named to the NE10 Academic All-Conference team for his achievements this season.
