Callin Signs with ECHL’s Worcester Railers

Waltham, Mass. – Bentley University's Drew Callin (Middleton, Wisc.) will continue his playing career after signing with the ECHL's Worcester Railers following the completion of his collegiate career with the Falcons.

The Railers are the ECHL affiliate of the New York Islanders.

Callin had a stellar senior year, and career, for the Falcons. This season he posted career-highs in goals (10), assists (25) and points (35), and finished the year tied for the team lead in assists and second in points, just one off the team lead. He was often the top-line right winger and played on the first power play unit.

The Atlantic Hockey Media Association recently voted him as the league's Top Defensive Forward for the 2018-19 season. His +/- rating of +12 is one of the top numbers in the league, and his points total of 35 is currently T-10th in Atlantic Hockey, and his 25 assists T-3rd.

Callin finished his Bentley career with 90 points, on 28 goals and 62 assists, in 141 career games. He had seven career game-winning goals.

He'll become the latest Bentley hockey player to continue his career playing professionally. A list of recent players that have gone on to the pros can be found here
