BOSTON, Mass. – Senior Andrew Gladiuk (White Rock, B.C./Nanaimo) and goaltender Jayson Argue (Swan River, Manitoba) stole the show as Bentley went into Northeastern's Matthews Arena and came away with a 3-2 victory over the Huskies on Friday night.

Gladiuk notched his second career hat trick, with two of the goals coming on the power play. Argue was arguably even more impressive in the face of a strong Northeastern offense, coming up with big save after big save en route to ending the night with 49 saves.

His biggest of the night came with Bentley leading 3-2, after Northeastern chipped away at a 3-0 Bentley lead with two third period goals. With Northeastern's extra attacker on and the Huskies mounting serious pressure, Argue denied forward Zach Aston-Reese's point-blank shot with a blocker save with about 40 seconds left to preserve the win.

As Argue turned away a whopping 20 Northeastern shots in the 1^st period, Gladiuk was opportunistic in giving the Falcons a surprise 1-0 lead with just 5 seconds left in the opening period. Taking a short pass from Ryan McMurphy (Broken Arrow, Okla./Tri-City) in front of the net, he skated around a defender and beat Northeastern goalie Derick Roy up top.

Argue continued to slam the door in the second period, making 30 saves with 10 minutes gone in the 2^nd period. Bentley then converted its second power play chance of the night as Gladiuk ripped home a shot from the point to make it 2-0 for the Falcons at the 14:08 mark. Taking a pass from freshman defenseman Tanner Jago (Brandon, Manitoba/Portage) across the ice, he ripped a shot through traffic into the back of the net.

Gladiuk then completed the hat trick just 49 seconds into the 3^rd. After a slap shot by defenseman Matt Blomquist (Blaine, Minn./Coulee Region) was saved by Roy, Gladiuk skated on to the rebound and wristed in a shot past Roy's glove to give Bentley a 3-0 lead.

The Huskies chipped away with a power play goal by Colton Saucerman at 4:39 and an even-strength goal by John Stevens at 15:54, but Bentley was able to hang on during a frantic final 1:22 with Northeastern's goalie pulled.

It's the third straight win for Bentley over Northeastern, as the series shifts to Ryan Arena in Watertown for Saturday night's game.
