Ethier Named Northeast-10 Player of the Year; All-Conference Honors for Falconer & Yoder

WALTHAM, Mass. – Bentley University junior Tommy Ethier (Nashua, N.H./Bishop Guertin HS) has been selected by the conference coaches as the Northeast-10 Conference Men's Golf Player of the Year. The announcement was made by the NE10 Office on Wednesday.

Ethier, a first-team All-Northeast-10 honoree for the second straight year, was joined on the All-Conference team by senior Robert Falconer (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley HS) and junior Ellis Yoder (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead HS). Falconer was a second-team pick for the second straight year and Yoder was chosen for the third team.

Ethier, a three-time All-Conference honoree, played in five tournaments during the fall portion of the season and posted a 73.0 scoring average during ten rounds of play. He tied for first in the Saint Rose Fall Shootout with a 70-70-140, tied sixth of 84 in the Le Moyne Fall Invitational (71-71-142) and tied for seventh of 74 in the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational (77-69-146)

Ethier, through three seasons, has a 74.45 career stroke average, best in program history. In 53 career rounds, he has shot par or better 18 times, including six of ten during his COVID-19 shortened junior season.

Falconer participated in four tournaments during the fall, posting a 74.25 stroke average. His top effort came in the Franklin Pierce Fall Invitational when he tied for seventh with a 74-72-146. His stroke average improved each year during his career and he finished with a 77.26 for 61 career rounds.

Yoder, in four tournaments, achieved a career-best 75.75 stroke average with a career-best 73 in the Le Moyne Fall Invitational. His top finish came in that same tournament, 13th of 84 with a 75-73-148. For his career, he has a 77.82 average in 16 tournaments.
